while the full absence of ai is impossible in a modern world, used pretty much everywhere in some form (phone cameras for example don't work without ai), generative ai is harmful, not only to its user but also the environment. generative ai creates lifeless media which kills creativity and removes the life from art of all forms (and uses and unnecessary amount of natural resources). while i do believe some ai chatbots can be used productively and can't deny that they have helped some people, we should not underestimate the social and intellectual impact they have. ai chatbots reduce their user's literacy in several fields and simply don't do good for our mental health. limit your usage of ai to the basics, like video game enemy ai or phone cameras. stay away from non necessary chat bots and never touch generative ai.
code should be written cleanly, easily maintanable and easy to understand, handwritten and well documented. websites built through other programs are fine, as long as the code follows these principles.
streaming services (especially music streaming services) are evil, buy either a digital or physical version of the media you want if you can afford to.
